NRG Youth Group
NRG (pronounced Energy) is our youth group. They meet on a Sunday evening in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the home of the youth leaders. Pizza is often the food of the day.
NRG are very involved with youth groups from other churches in the town. They have been to the Soul Survivor summer camp where they have a great time in the presence of God and they even take our Sunday service occasionally.
The name NRG was decided upon by the youth themselves and it stands for New Relationships in God.
In April 2009 members of NRG took part in the annual Swimathon event in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, raising over £250 and completing many more lengths of the pool than they’d been initially sponsored for.
