Please pray with us

We believe that God is a loving and caring God who expects us to bring Him our prayer requests. We believe that He listens to and answers prayer.

“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” (Matt. 18: 19-20 NIV)

Rocky’s Plaice Holiday Club

Our 2010 holiday club runs from Monday 26th to Friday 30th July 2010, plus a special Rocky’s Plaice themed Sunday morning worship time.*

More than 80 children are booked in for a week of fun and games, challenges, songs and crafts (plus the odd chance of a custard pie!) and it promises to be a busy week for all concerned.

Please support this event in prayer each day.
Pray for the team as they seek to communicate God’s love to the children.
Pray for for safety for everyone involved; pray there will be no accidents or injuries but also that no one will miss out because of illness.
Please pray too for good weather, especially for the afternoon games sessions.
Pray especially for the children themselves, that they will all really enjoy themselves and will get a glimse of how exciting being a Christian can be.

Many thanks

NON-STOP PRAYER REQUIRED

Simon Fletcher

SimonShortly before Christmas 2009 Simon was diagnosed with what doctors described as a ‘low grade malignant tumour’ in his brain.

Simon is understandably terrified and has asked all who can to “pray hard”
In Simon’s own words: “Keep praying for healing, it’s a trivial job for God!”

It is a type of tumour that they’ve not seen many times before so don’t really know the best way to treat it. As it’s a slow growing one he was initially given 2 months off work with regular scans to monitor the tumour but the situation has worsened. He is undergoing radiotherapy, which does seem to be bringing some improvement but we continue to look to God for the miracle of complete healing, including restoration of Simon’s memory.

Please stand with us in prayer:
I would ask that each day, every hour you lift Simon before our God. Seek God’s healing hand on him and surround the whole situation, and the whole family, in as much prayer as possible.

Seek God’s will for Simon, be that a miraculous healing that Simon will come through with a testimony of God’s goodness and love. or that God will call him home.

Pray for Simon, for peace of mind and that he will know God’s presence with him in a very tangible way.
Pray too for his wife Natalie and their young daughter Isabella, and for the wider family, as this is obviously a very difficult time for them.

Please pass on this request to all you know who love and trust our God.

“In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” (Eph 6:18 MSG)
